Ingredients

  • 1 lb chili beef
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 1/2 onion
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 jalepeno
  • 1 14.5 oz can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 14.5 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 46 oz. can tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 tbspn mexican chili powder
  • mexican seasoning
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash red pepper (cayenne)
  • dash black pepper

Directions

Brown the beef and sausage. Drain and set aside. In the same pot, sautee the onion, pepper and garlic. Return the browned beef and sausage. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and juice. Bring to a boil. Add seasonings and stir. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 2 hours.
