Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Grated carrots
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

Directions

Combine the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, 1/4 cup water, and mustard in a saucepan and boil for 1 minute. Let cool to lukewarm. Pour over the other slaw ingredients. Put into freezer containers.
