Ingredients
- 4 medium apples, peeled and cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup carmel (ice cream) topping
- 4 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 tbsp. margarine or butter
Directions
Arrange apple slices in the bottom of the Microsteamer. Stir together ice cream topping, water and lemon juice. Carefully pour over apples. In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture. Cook uncovered in microwave, on 100% power (high) for 8-12 minutes or until apples are tender. (If using canned apples, cook 6-8 minutes or until heated through.)
