Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup dark or light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 cup pecans
Directions
Mix 1 pkg. (less 2/3 cup) yellow cake mix and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press in pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 F.
Mix 2/3 cup yellow cake mix (from package), 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 beaten eggs. Put on top of the baked cake mix and sprinkle with 1 cup pecans and bake 30-35 minutes at 350 F.
