  • Bread
  • Tomatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Basil Garlic

Directions

This recipe is somewhat different than the one you described, but this is an Italian recipe for bruschetta.

But the bread in the oven with some olive oil and garlic. Slice the tomatoes and mix it with the basil. When the bread is crusty (not black!) take it out of the oven and cover it with the tomatoe/basil mix.

There are several other recipes for bruschetta, for instance with liver which is very nice. Only then there are called crostini.
