This is a butter cream frosting my mother taught me. it tastes much like your Suzy Q frosting. Hope it works

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Warm milk
  • 1 c. butter
  • (I found it works better with 1/2 butter & 1/2 shorting)
  • 1 c. Sugar

Directions

Cream your sugar and butter together. Slowly, add your warm milk while beating. You may not need all the milk. If the milk is too warm, it will curdle. If it is too cold, it will separate. The frosting, if done right, is wonderful.
