Ingredients

  • 1c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c flour
  • 4 eggs
  • whipping cream

Directions

Combine water, butter, and salt in medium saucepan. Stir to melt butter. Bring to boil.
Add flour all at once. Stir vigorously until it forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of pan. Remove from heat.
Adds eggs, ONE AT A TIME, beating thoroughly after each is added. drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet leaving room for expansion. Bake at 425 degrees oven for 30 minutes. They should look dry with no beads of moisture showing. Cool on rack. When cool, cut top almost off, fill with flavoured and sweetened whipped cream. Make 12 large puffs.
