Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 (2 to 3 pound) broiler-fryer cutup
  • Veg. oil

Directions

Combine flour, salt, thyme and paprika. combine egg, milk, and lemon juice. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Dip into egg mixture, then dredge in flour mixture again.Refrigerate at least 30 min. Heat 1/2 inch oil to 375 in an electric skillet, fry until golden brown. Reduce heat to 250, cover and continue to cook for 25 min.
