Ingredients
- 2 cans reduced fat Swanson's chicken broth
 - 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes (salt free)
 - 1/2 cup chopped onions
 - 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
 - 1/2 cup sliced celery
 - 1/2 cup coarsely chopped green bell pepper
 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice (Realemon in bottle is fine)
 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed sage
 - 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
 - Few drops Tabasco if desired
 
Directions
Put chicken broth in large pot. Chop up tomatoes and add along with their juice. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover, lower heat to simmer and cook for about 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. If desired, add a hand ful of rice or macaroni for last 20 minutes or cooking to make a more substantial soup
