Ingredients

  • 1 Chuck Roast
  • potatoes
  • onions
  • carrots
  • garlic

Directions

Brown the chuck roast well on both sides. I make sure that it's very brown. Add water to about cover. Peel a clove of garlic and add to water. Put in oven in covered roaster or Dutch oven. Cook a couple hours at 350. Add potatoes, carrots, and onions and cook until tender. Dip out meat and vegetables and make a gravy from the water left. May need to add a bit more water. Salt to taste.
