Ingredients

  • 8 c ground Oreo's (food processer)
  • melted butter
  • 1# brown sugar(1 box)
  • 3/4 c bourbon
  • 1 c corn syrup
  • 1 T van.
  • 5 c chopped pecans
  • 8 oz. unsweetened choc.
  • 1# unsalted butter(4 sticks)

Directions

Process oreo's until ground.Add meled butter just until moistened and comes together like a snow ball.Line 10 in.springform on bottom and sides,bake in 350 deg. oven for 5 min,take out and let cool.

In a double boiler add choc. and butter and melt together.

In seperate bowl add brown sugar,corn syrup,bourbon,van. and pecans.

Stir to mix.When choc. mixture is melted add to other ingr.and mix well.Pour into lined springform and bake at 350 until center is set.

If pie is turning brown faster on the outside quicker than is cooking, turn down oven and continue to bake,(you can also cover with foil)
Best served at room temp.with whipped cream

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie
