New Mexico ground chile powder is a must for the best tasting sauce.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 2 Tablespoons cooking oil
- 4 Tablespoons chile powder
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
Brown flour in cooking oil on medium heat. Blend in chile powder, slowly add water, stir until lumps are removed. Add garlic and salt. Simmer 10-15 minutes.
