NOTE: Basting brushes used on raw food should not be dipped in table sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle ketchup
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp.pepper
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. hot sauce

Directions

Combine all ingredients and then separate into two bowls.One for basting and the other for table use. Refrigerate and leftover table sauce and discard any remaining basting sauce. Bast only during last 10 minutes of grilling. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
