Ingredients

  • 1 pound Maryland crabmeat
  • 1/2 C unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared musard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Directions

1. Remove cartilage from crabmeat

2. Mix breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, parsley, Worcestershire, mustard, salt and white pepper together

3. Pour mixture over crabmeat and fold in lightly, but thoroughly

4. Form six cakes 5. Deep fry at 350 degrees until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
