Ingredients

  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed or chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste (recipe calls for anchovy fillets but I like to use the paste)
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice (fresh is best)
  • 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise (I use Best Foods-may be called Heilmanns in your area)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Cup Pepperidge Farm Classic Caesar Croutons

Directions

1. In large bowl, mix garlic,salt,pepper,anchovy past,lemon juice, and mayonnaise. Add olive oil and mix to combine.

2. Add lettuce and toss.

3. Add Parmesan cheese and Pepperidge Farm Classic Caesar Croutons and toss again. .....best Caesar I have found
