Ingredients
- This is so easy and turns out Perfect everytime.
- Any size rib roast (at least 2 pounds)
- Plan on 3/4 to 1# per person
- salt
- pepper or
- can use seasoning salt
Directions
Anytime during the day, at least 3-4 hours before serving, place the room temperature roast sprinkled with seasoning in a shallow open pan. Fat side up, resting on bones or on a rack. Preheat your oven to 375 and bake roast for Exactly 45 minutes.
Do not add water, Do not cover, Do not baste Turn off oven, leaving the roast in the oven with the door closed. Do not open the oven. Turn oven on again at 375 for another 45 minutes before serving. Let stand 15 minutes before carving.
Note; for roast 10 to 12# leave in oven 60 minutes at the beginning and 60-90 minutes at the end for medium rare.
Your roast will come out perfect well on the end cuts and beautiful medium to medium rare in the middle happy holidays!
