Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 16 oz. can pitted dark sweet cherries
- 2 tbsp brandy
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Directions
Combine cornstarch & cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure. Drain cherries, reserving liquid. Add enough cherry liquid to dissolve cornstarch; stir well. Add remaining liquid and cherries. Microwave on High for 3-4 minutes or until thickened, stirring twice. Stir in brandy and lemon juice. Serve over ice cream or roast duck. Makes 2 cups.
