Salt & Pepper
Directions:If meat is sliced or can be sliced, not too thin. Take desired pieces of meat and soak over night in buttermilk, this will take out the wild / gamey taste. Heat oil in skillet, wash meat, salt and pepper and roll in flour and fry in pan till brown. (Beating the meat before frying will also tender it)
Acouple of years ago, I too was fairly new at fixing deer meat. This works and you don't get the taste of the buttermilk.
