Nice served with fettuccine. Options: An egg is sometimes beaten in with the cream and Parmesan. Cherry tomatoes (1/2 basket, rinsed) are tossed in just prior to serving. Enjoy

You could either add the peppers or substitute them for one of the other vegetables.

If towards the end you find you added to much stock. It's ok it should cook out. And also let it rest for a couple mins. It will tighten. Good Luck

I got his recipe when I was in the International Kitchen in Berkeley, California in the late 50s. The group was composed of wives of foreign students and local women. We met once a month taking turns cooking a meal. The group not cooking were the sous chefs. We started early in the morning with coffee and coffee cake and a discussion of the meal we were about to share. This particular recipe came from a woman from Belgium. Glad you asked for a frosted cauliflower recipe because I hadn't thought of it in years. It's best with home made mayonnaise but is good with store bought too. It's as pretty as it is delicious.

This could be easily doubled, but I only added an extra package of the mixed vegetables and 2 pkgs corn, using an aluminum turkey roasting pan, when I made this for our family reunion. There were 35 people there and I had a little left over.

Even people and children who don't like cauliflower love this dish.
