Title: unknown Jewish meat & egg roll
Type: Beef
Description: Similar in construction to an egg roll, consisting of a pastry wrapped around a filling of cooked ground beef, hardboiled eggs (chopped), and possibly some chopped vegetables. Served hot or cold, and delicious either way. Possibly a variation on a knish? Served as a meal by itself - great in lunchboxes. Possibly of Russian Jewish origin.
