Title: Twix bars
Type: Dessert
Description: My Aunt had this great recipe for homemade twix bars, but when she died, so did the recipe. I remember pressing the rather dry but buttery cookie part into a pan, baking it, and then pouring over caramel with sweetened condensed milk and powdered sugar. The final step was melted chocolate with something in it. This recipe is from the 40's or 50's and was around before "twix" became popular. Anyway, it's a much tastier version of the packaged bar anyway. Can anyone help with the details?
