  • 1 can chicken gumbo soup
  • 1 onion, diced
  • black pepper

The first recipe: saute the beef in a little oil with onion and spices...drain off grease and add a little oatmeal 1/4 to 1/2 c. a little at a time, with a T. or so of water....stir and cook until mixture is the very last a little ketchup may be added but not necessary. Adjust seasonings to taste...

Family Recipe: Cook hamburger with onion and spices in a little oil, drain off grease and stir in soup....this keeps very well...great for winter get togethers, put in the crockpot on low. The soup kind of disappears and the flavor is wonderful...enjoy

Both of these are served on hamburger buns.
