You can make individual pies over the fire with a pie maker available at camp supply stores. Maybe you already own one or two. The ingredients needed are simple.
Ingredients
- Bread slices
- butter or margarine
- filling of choice:
- Canned Pie Filling(cherry, apple, Etc.)
- pizza sauce w/ cheese, pepperoni
- american cheese
Directions
Simple butter a slice of bread, put in pie maker, add filling, then the other buttered bread slice, close, hold over fire till done on both sides. We sprinkle the fruit pies with powdered sugar. Very good. You wouldn't know you were using bread.
