Ingredients:
  • 1 cup warm water(105-115 degrees)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups wholewheat flour, sifted
  • 1/4 tsp.salt
  • 2 tsps. olive oil

Directions:
Place water and honey into a large bowl; stir to dissolve honey. Add yeast and stir in salt and about 1 cup of flour; dough should be sticky. Gradually add remaining flour, kneading gently with hands until dough is smooth and elastic; shape into a ball. Lift dough out of bowl; pour in oil. Place dough back into bowl; coat both sides of dough with oil. Cover and let rise until dough has doubled in bulk (45-60 mimnutes). Punch down dough and place on a floured surface. Gently knead and divide into 2 balls. (Dough may be frozen.) Lightly flour a rolling pin and flatten dough into a 12-inch circle. Place dough in pizza pan or on a pizza stone.

Yields 2 pizza crusts; each 8 slices. Per slice: 185 calories; 2.0 g fat(0.3 g saturated fat; 10 percent calories from fat); 0 mg cholesterol; 69 mg sodium.
