Ingredients
- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pkg. (3-1/2 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. (12-oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Directions
Combine flour and baking soda; set aside. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs; gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts(batter will be stiff). Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls, about 2-in. apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 9-1/2 minutes or until browned.
Yield: 4-1/2 dozen cookies. 2-1/2 inches in diameter.
