Use a good quality sausage. Yummy!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound sausage meat(hot)
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 14oz can sauerkraut
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp prepared mustard
  • dash of garlic salt

Directions

Brown sausage and onion. Drain and let cool. Combine rest of the ingredients. Add sausage and onions. Shape into balls -size of walnuts. Chill these at least 2 hours.

Dip balls in flour -then in egg and milk ( 2 eggs mix with 1 tblsp milk) mixture and then craker meal. Deep fry in hot oil till brown. drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

These freeze well. Reheat at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
