Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup catsup
  • 1 can red beans
  • 1 8 oz. package noodles
  • 1 package american cheese slices

Directions:
Saute onion in small amount of oil. Add ground beef and green peppers. Cook until beef is browned. Cook noodles in separate pan until done. Put noodles and ground beef mixture along with red beans in a 9x12, greased, casserole dish. Add catsup and bake at 350 until it bubbles. Put cheese slices on top and let melt. I do not add salt, sometimes I put a dash of chili powder.



This always appears at our church fellowship dinners.
