Chocolate Mousse Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate,
  • melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (4 oz) carton frozen whipped topping,
  • thawed
  • 1 baked 9 inch pastry shell
  • Whipped cream & shaved chocolate (opt)

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; stir in chocolate. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon filling into pastry shell. CHill until firm (about 2 hours), or freeze. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate before serving, if desired.

Makes 1 pie.
