Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 onion

Directions

Preheat oven to 400* F. Lightly grease a 10 inch pie plate. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt and pepper, spread in pie plate and sprinkle with cheese. In a large bowl, beat the remaining ingredients until smooth, about 15 seconds in a blender on high speed or 1 minute with a hand beater. Pour mixture over cheese and bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate any remaining pie. Yield, 6-8 servings.
