Slow Cooker Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1-1/2 tsp. leaf sage, crumbled
1 tsp. leaf thyme, crumbled
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, beaten
4 cups chicken broth
12 cups dry bread crumbs

Directions:
Mix butter, celery, onion, spices, salt, pepper, eggs and broth together. Add bread crumbs; stir to blend. Cook in slow cooker on high for 45 minutes; reduce heat to low for 6 hours. Yield: 10-12 servings.

This recipe comes in handy when you run out of oven space at a large family gathering.
