Ingredients:

  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined, thoroughly dried
  • 2 c marinara sauce
  • 1/2 to 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (or Tabasco sauce to taste)
  • 8 oz vermicelli or capelli d'angeli, cooked

Directions:
Heat olive oil in large skillet. Add shrimp and toss quickly until they begin to turn pink. Add marinara sauce and red pepper flakes (or Tabasco). Adjust seasonings to taste. Toss with cooked pasta and serve. Serves 4.

Variation:
Chop green pepper and onion into 1" chunks. Saute in the heated olive oil until "crisp tender." Add shrimp and proceed with recipe.
