I'm sure that I didn't understand your request, but thought I'd post our favorite "Potato Chips". Slice potatoes very thin. I use a slicer. Cover with cold water for a few minutes. This gets the starch out of the potatoes so that they will get crispy. Remove from water and pat dry. Deep fry in hot oil. Only do about one cup full at a time so they will cook fast, and not get soggy. We like either vinegar sprinkled over, or dip them in catsup.
