Ingredients
- Crust:
- 16 graham crackers, rolled fine
- 1 tsp flour
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Filling:
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- Meringue:
- 3 egg whites
- 3 tbsp sugar
Directions
Mix crust ingredients together well. Take 1 1/2 c. of crumb mix and pat in 9" pie pan. Reserve balance. Cook together all the filling ingredients, until mixture coats spoon. Pour over crust. Beat egg whites and sugar till stiff peaks form. Spread on top of custard. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over meringue. Bake until meringue browns.
