Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper sliced thin
  • Dash seasoned salt
  • Butter to taste
  • Pam cooking spray
  • 4 10"x10" pieces of foil

Directions

Prepare foil for potatoes by spraying with Pam or putting butter on the foil (this will help prevent from sticking). Divide up sliced and peeled potatoes and distribute equally on foil pieces. Add onion and green pepper to each foil of potatoes. Put a few "pats" of butter or margarine on potatoes dash with seasoned salt. Close foil as you would seal baked potatoes. Make sure the seal is tight so the butter does not leak out. Put on camp stove and cook until tender about 30 minutes. The time will vary depending on temperature. We cook these on the grill at home and start them just before the steaks. You can make them as spicy or as mild as you wish. (Mark the foil to indicate plain or spicy potatoes)
