Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 (1 oz) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted, cooled

Directions

In large bowl combine brown sugar, sugar and butter. Beat at med. speed, scraping often, till creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating till well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking soda and salt. Beat, scraping bowl often till well mixed. Pour cooked chocolate over cookie dough and swirl with knife just enough to create a marbled effedt. Do not overmix. Drop buy rounder teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes at 350 (or till light brown). Let stand 1 min. remove from cookie sheets.
