Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled & quartered
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
  • 3 2/3 c. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano

Directions:
Heat oil in large saucepan; add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Remove garlic from pan and discard. Add basil, tomatoes, salt & pepper to oil. Stir well and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Stir in oregano.
