Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. fettucine
  • Add'l grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Cream butter; gradually beat in cream. Blend in 1/2 c. cheese. Cover & set aside. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender, following package directions; drain. Toss fettuccine with cream mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Serve at once with extra grated Parmesan cheese.
