Danish Hot Dog Recipe

  Danish Beef

Ingredients:
sausage, good quality, with intestine skin
vinegar
hot dog bread
onion
ketchup
mustard

Directions:
Boil water with 3 sp vinegar and 3 sp salt per liter. Let the sausages simmer - without cooking - for at least 15 min. The vinegar will denaturate the skin. If the temperature is to high, the skin will burst. Cut the heated bread an place the sausage in the bread. Place the fresh cut onion on top with mustard and ketchup. If you eat the bread and sausage a part, it is not called a hot dog (in Denmark)
