I haven't tried this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 pound bacon
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp sugar

Directions

Trim the outer leaves of the sprouts and cut a small "X" in the base of each. Boil in salted water for 6-10 minutes until crisp tender. Drain well. Fry the bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels and reserve two tablespoons of the drippings. Sauté the Brussels sprouts in the drippings until they begin to caramelize. Add the sugar and vinegar and continue to cook over medium heat until the sprouts are glazed. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with the crumbled bacon.
