Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 can(16 oz.)chocolate syrup
  • 1 c sifted flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 c chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.)semi-sweet chocolate bits

Directions

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate syrup; beat thoroughly. Add flour and salt and beat until blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate bits. Spread mixture in greased 9x13-inch baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F. 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
