Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy. Add corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla; beat well. Stir in melted chocolate. Combine flour, baking powder, add salt; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts. Spread in lightly greased 9" square pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
