You will love this recipe. It comes straight from Maryland where our family lives and has been cooking crab cakes (and also a wonderful crab soup) for years. You won't be disappointed.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. crab meat (lump)
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayo
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 - 16 saltine crackers (small)
- 1 egg
Directions
clean crab meat and take out any shells
mix all ingredients together.
form into patties
fry until golden brown.
makes 8
