Ingredients
- - 2 cups plain yogurt
- - 1 cucumber,peeled,seeded,coarsly ground
- - 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- - 1 tblsp fresh lemon juice
- - 1 teas grated onion
- - 1 teas olive oil
- - 1 teas. chopped fresh dillweed
- - or 1/2 teas dried dill weed
- - salt and ground pepper to taste
Directions
1 - Drain yogurt and cucubmer in separate cheesecloth line colanders. Combine yog, cuc, garlic, lemon juice, onion, olive oil, dillweed, salt and pepper in bowl and mix well.
2 - Serve as a dip with fresh veggies or as sandwich sauce for gyros.
