From "The WASP Cookbook"
Ingredients
- 4 Tbs Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 1 10 oz. pkg frozen peas;defrosted & drained
- 3 cups chipped beef
- toast points
Directions
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cream, milk, and mushroom soup and bring to a boil. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Add the sherry and peas, then simmer for 5 more minutes. Add the chipped beef and simmer for5 more minutes. Pour over toast points and serve.
