This is a Southern thing- good with BBQ, can also use olives or jalapeno slices.
- 1 C + All-pupose flour- seperated
- 1/2 CCorn starch
- Some Beer
Cut pickles into desired proportions. (Quartered lengthwise or chips). Dredge thoroughly in flour to a dry state. Mix Flour & Corn starch, season lightly w/s&p or season salt, stir in enough beer (or water) to make a medium batter. Drop in Pickles and remove letting drain slightly, fry in hot oil (350%). Remove when brown.
