Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe but firm mango (sliced)
  • 4 cups bananas (sliced)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

Mix sugar, spices, and cornstarch together. Alternate layers of mango slices and banana slices and sugar mixture in prepared pie crust. Sprinkle orange juice. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust; flute edge and seal. Cut vents on top. Bake in preheated oven, 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30 minutes. Cool pie on rack before serving.
