Ingredients

  • 1 12ounce package butterscotch chips
  • 1 12ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 9 ounces chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

In a double boiler melt both packages of chips, stirring until smooth. Reduce heat to low. Add chow mein noodles and walnuts stirring well until covered. Remove from heat. Spoon tablespoon size portions onto waxed paper covered cookie sheets. Refrigerate until hardened. Remove from wax paper and store in refrigerator. Makes about 40 cookies. Note: All chocolate may be used. Peanuts can be used in place of walnuts. Recipe can be made nut-free too.
