Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 Heath bars, crushed

Directions

Combine margarine, sugars, flour, and salt in bowl, using a pastry
blender and cutting in margarine as for pie crust. Reserve 1/2 cup
of the mixture to be used for topping. Beat egg and add to crumb
mixture. Combine baking soda w/buttermilk, add to mixture. Add
vanilla and mix thoroughly. Turn into buttered 9x13" pan. Top with
reserved crumb mixture. Crush Heath bars. Sprinkle all over top
of batter. Bake at 350~ for 30 mins. Place pan on rack to cool,
