Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tea bag
  • 1 cardamon pod, remove shell and grind pieces to powder
  • honey or sugar, to sweeten according to taste

Directions:
1. Stove top method: Pour water and milk in saucepan, bring to boil. Remove saucepan from heat. Add tea bags and cardamon powder. Cover saucepan. Let tea steep for 5 minutes. Sweeten with honey or sugar.

2. Microwave directions: Pour water and milk into microwave safe 2 cup capacity glass. Add tea bag(s) and cardamon powder. Set time for 2 - 3 minutes and watch carefully until it starts to boil, do not allow to boil over. Turn off microwave and let tea steep for 5 minutes. Sweeten with honey or sugar.

Above ingredients for one serving. - Lipton Black Tea with Orange Pekoe is fine. - Try 2 tea bags for a stronger tea flavor. - Try 2 cardamon pods for a stronger spice flavor. - If you have cardamon powder, use 1/4 tsp.
