Ingredients:

2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
1 c. cheddar cheese, cut up
2 eggs
2 or 3 small Mexican peppers, cut up
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic powder
2 t. sugar
1 c. cream-style corn

Directions:

Mix oil, sugar, beaten eggs, cornmeal, soda, salt and garlic powder. Add buttermilk, peppers, corn, cheddar cheese. Mix well.Bake in a loaf pan at 350 degrees until brown.
